Ideas

Hi everyone,

I have been developing some new ideas:

1. Conducting an experiment regarding the effectiveness of different chemicals to remove a stain from calico. I will also ivestigate the possible substitute of environmentally friendly methods as opposed to harmful chemicals such as bleach.

Dependent variables

• The type of fabric
• The size and shape of the stain itself
• The utensils used
• The time allowed

Independent variables

• The chemical or substance that is used

For this experiment to be as accurate as possible, I will also need to have a relatively consistant temperature so as to not effect the efficiency of solvents in comparison to other chemicals.
